Born in London, Shaun started his career in the photography and film industry, working for Christopher Moore / Catwalking.com - one of the world’s foremost Fashion Catwalk Photographers. He continued working in the fashion industry, mainly working for European Magazines and Newspapers; shooting editorial and advertising work until moving to New Zealand and recently Australia for film & TV work.
Shaun has made a niche for himself in the Asia Pacific region’s Advertising Industries, where he has received numerous commissions from print, TVC campaigns and Network TV specials ranging from clients such as; Canon Cameras; Caltex Oil; Singapore Airlines; Adidas; Levis Strauss; Sony; Nokia; Mercedes Benz, Philips Audio and The Kingdom of Tonga. Shaun has two clear instincts for a winning image in both his moving and stills work. Firstly to show it can communicate a strong idea and secondly, that it ties together Shaun’s passion for making beautiful imagery.
Skills include cinematography, photography for print advertising, TV commercials, documentaries & promos for ad agencies, clients, major recording companies and artists such as Deborah Harry, Talvin Singh, The Master Musicians of Jajouka, The Doors, Nigel Kennedy and Jaz Coleman of English post-punk band 'Killing Joke'. The latter collaboration led to 10 years of juggling work with a mammoth passion project: the critically acclaimed cult feature film called ’The Death and Resurrection Show’, now released on DVD, Blu Ray & currently screening globally on the Sundance TV network until 2018.
